I use hotmail and gmail as my main accounts. I've had my hotmail account for over a decade and I'm emotionally attached to it. I access it via their website. For gmail, I use thunderbird to download my emails and they are archived on their website once downloaded, thus creating two backups. I also have a yahoo email address that I don't check very often, but I like their web interface.
What are you looking for in an email provider? Why haven't you been happy with the your old email providers?
I guess i was kinda peeved that i wasn't recieving all my messages, and if i were they were sent to trash, bleh.But i downloaded thundermail, and now have a gmail account :)
Do you mean an email client, or an email service? I like Thunderbird as a client. For email services, I use my own domain for that, but I disliked Yahoo when I was using free email services. I hear gmail is good, but I don't like the idea of all my email being stored on the web instead of locally.
Generally, I use gmail for everything. I've tried everything from yahoo to hotmail and then several other email services. So far, I like gmail best. <<;;
