Hi everyone! I just had an interview today, and i thought it went well!It was to take care of a quadraplegic [sp?] that was hit by a car and only has a little movement in her arms. The lady was explaining the job, and she said "im not going to sugarcoat it, the client is mean, she is angry all the time, and she isn't nice.So if you don't have the self confidence it takes to deal with it, then this job isn't for you."
I LOVE all the details of this job, except for the one above, the hrs, the rate of pay, the location, EVERYTHING.
The lady said you have to meet with the client first, before you get hired, and she said she was going to set me up to meet her, but not be discouraged if it isn't for a few days, it takes a while for the client to want people to come into her house.
A plus to this job is, that, we don't have to change diapers, she is on a Bowel program, that the nurses do, and all we have to do is change the cathetar [sp] when it gets full.
It sounds like an amazing opportunity for me, and its in a really good location!
Wish me luck with this =)
